Kosher Mezuzah Scroll (Klaf) — Ashkenaz, Handwritten with Certificate

The scroll is the mezuzah. Every case we sell says "kosher scroll not included" — this is the scroll. Handwritten in Israel by a qualified sofer (scribe) on Shelil calf-hide parchment, in the Ashkenaz script tradition, containing the Shema (Deuteronomy 6:4–9) and V'haya (Deuteronomy 11:13–21). 100% kosher with certificate — each scroll is proofread by an expert and then computer-checked letter by letter, and carries the maker's warranty.

A printed insert or a photocopy is not a mezuzah — the commandment requires a handwritten scroll, which is why a real one costs what a real one costs.

Choosing a size — read this first. A scroll should match its case, not rattle inside it. Measure the scroll your case is built for, then pick that size here. The Keren Kopal enamel cases we carry are built for a 14 cm scroll — for those, use our 15 cm Ashkenaz klaf instead of anything on this page. Each purchase includes the blessing and mounting instructions.
