Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Aleph & Tav online store. By placing an order, you agree to them.

Who we are. Aleph & Tav is an independent bookshop serving Messianic Jewish and Hebrew Roots households, operated from Virginia, United States. We are a retailer, not a ministry or congregation, and we are not affiliated with any organization whose books or teachings we carry. Inclusion of any author, teacher or ministry in our catalog is not an endorsement of everything they hold, nor theirs of us.

Orders and fulfillment. Some items ship directly from our distribution partners, so an order may arrive in more than one parcel and on more than one day. Delivery times stated on our Shipping page are estimates, not guarantees. If you need an item for a specific appointed time, contact us before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether it will arrive in time.

Pricing and availability. Prices are in US dollars and may change without notice. If an item becomes unavailable after you order — which can happen with distributor stock — we will notify you promptly and refund that item in full. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order we cannot fulfill properly.

Product descriptions. We work hard to describe items accurately, including religious-use labeling — for example, whether a shofar is kosher for blowing or decorative, or whether a mezuzah case includes a scroll. Where we cannot verify a claim, we say so rather than repeat it. Our descriptions are offered in good faith as retail information, not as religious rulings; for questions of practice, consult your own congregational leadership.

Returns. Returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Your account and conduct. You agree to provide accurate order and contact information and not to use this store for any unlawful purpose or to resell our free resources.

Intellectual property. The content of this site — product descriptions, guides, and learning pages — belongs to Aleph & Tav. Our free printable resources may be printed, copied and shared freely for personal and congregational use; they may not be sold or offered for sale.

Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aleph & Tav's total liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time; the version posted at the time of your order applies to that order.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.
