Refund policy
The short version: 30 days, unused and in original condition, and we will refund you. If we described something wrongly, we pay the return shipping and we fix the listing.
Returns. Most items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they are unused and in their original packaging. Books must be unread and unmarked. To start a return, contact us at ronemiddler@gmail.com with your order number — a person will reply within one business day. We do not keep business hours on Shabbat.
Items that cannot be returned:
- Shofars that have been blown
- Tallitot whose tzitzit have been tied, where supplied untied
- Mezuzah scrolls, once the packaging is opened
- Custom and made-to-order items, unless faulty or misprinted
- Opened anointing oils and candles
- Earrings and pierced jewelry, for hygiene reasons
If we got it wrong. If an item arrives damaged or does not match its description, that is our error, not yours. We cover return shipping, we replace or refund at your choice, and we correct the product page so the next customer does not hit the same thing. Please include a photograph of any damage — it speeds everything up and helps us go back to the maker.
Natural variation is not a defect. Horn, stone, olive wood and handmade goods vary from piece to piece; yours will not be identical to the photograph, and we say so on the relevant product pages. We cannot accept a return on the grounds that a natural material looked natural.
Refunds. Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you and issue the refund to your original payment method within 10 business days. Shipping costs are refunded when the return is due to our error; otherwise original shipping is non-refundable. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, contact us.
Exchanges. The fastest route is a return for refund and a fresh order for the item you want. For an exchange of the same item in a different variant — a different finish or size — contact us and we will handle it directly.
