Shofars
Ram, kudu and Yemenite horns from Israel. Every listing states the species, the length range, the finish, and — plainly — whether the horn is kosher for blowing or intended for display.
How we label: an uncoated horn preserves its natural sound and is kosher for blowing. Silver plating, gold plating and paint alter the sound, so we list those as decorative. Carved and engraved horns remain kosher. We never make a kosher claim we cannot verify with the maker.
