Shipping policy
Where orders ship from. We are a small shop and we do not warehouse everything ourselves. Items ship directly from our distribution partners in the United States, and — once our Judaica line launches — from makers in Israel. This means an order may arrive in more than one parcel, on more than one day. You will receive tracking for each parcel as it ships.
Timeframes. Books typically ship from a US warehouse within 2–4 business days of your order. Jewelry ships from our US partners, typically within 3–5 business days. Items shipping from Israel, where offered, typically take 7–14 business days to reach US addresses. These are estimates, not guarantees — carrier delays happen, and we would rather say that here than surprise you.
Shipping costs. Rates are calculated at checkout by item type and destination. Qualifying book orders over $60 ship free within the United States.
Ordering for an appointed time. If you need something in hand for a specific feast day, order earlier than feels necessary and check the order-by dates we publish before each season. Israeli makers close for the feasts themselves, which lengthens lead times exactly when demand peaks. If you are close to a deadline, contact us before ordering — we will tell you honestly whether it will make it, including no.
International orders. We ship internationally. Duties, customs fees and import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and are not collected at checkout.
Wrong address. If you notice an address error, contact us immediately — we can usually correct it before dispatch but not after. Parcels returned to us due to an incorrect address can be reshipped at cost.
Lost or stalled parcels. If tracking has not moved in five business days, contact us at ronemiddler@gmail.com and we will chase the carrier rather than ask you to. We answer within one business day and do not keep business hours on Shabbat.
